A senior pitcher/first base from Springfield, Ohio, Turner helped pace the Tornado offense in a 6-0 week that saw King clinch a share of the Conference Carolinas regular season title. In six games she hit. .450 (9-for-20) which included two home runs, one double and one triple. She drove in six and scored a team-high eight run. She was also impressive in the circle as she went 3-0 with a 2.77 ERA, tossing a team-high 17.2 innings which included one complete game, a 10-strikeout performance against Erskine. Her best offensive game came in a win over Southern Wesleyan on April 20 when she went 3-for-3 with three runs scored and a home run. In all, she had four multi-hit games, slugged .900 with a .476 on-base percentage and struck out 19 batters in her three outings.
