A senior from Fort Myers, Florida, Blythe helped regular-season champion Belmont Abbey conclude an undefeated conference regular season last week.
In Belmont Abbey’s 7-0 win over King on April 19 that helped the Crusaders claim the conference regular season title outright, Blythe first teamed with Nelson Stafford at No. 1 doubles to collect a 6-0 win over Alex Sodre and Mat Vieria. He then collected a 6-1, 6-4 victory over Rhys Halcrow at No. 2 doubles.
Blythe and Stafford played at No. 2 doubles against Emmanuel, but the result was the same with the pair besting Thembo Makhanya and Javier Crespo, 6-4. Blythe would then pick up a 6-4, 6-0 win over Nathan Benoit at No. 2 singles to help the Crusaders to the 5-2 team victory over Emmanuel on April 22.
