A senior from New Columbia, Pennsylvania, Betzer finished third at the Converse Kick-off on Saturday with a six-kilometer time of 22:31.9 which is a personal best and the top time among all Conference Carolinas participants.
The Bobcats finished the event in seventh of 13 teams.
