A freshman from Pendleton, South Carolina, O’Neill was the top NCAA Division II finisher at the NCAA Division I Furman Invitational that was held on Saturday, Sept. 17.
O’Neill’s 5k time of 15:22.18 allowed him to claim 15
th place overall at the prestigious event.
