A freshman from Winchester, Virginia, Beatty became the second Converse runner in program history to post a sub-19 minute 5k time as she finished fifth at the Liv in Lou Cross Country Classic with a personal best time of 18:51.3.
Competing at one of the largest races in the country, Beatty helped the Valkyries to a third place team finish out of 40 teams with a program-record team average of 19:38. The men’s team also set the school record with an 8k average of 27:43.
