A redshirt sophomore from Southport, North Carolina, Phieffer notched a runner-up finish at the Akiah McMillian Invitational on Saturday that featured three other Conference Carolinas programs.
Pheiffer finished the 8k race in 25:35.3 which was a personal best time and his best collegiate finish in an event. The Braves finished second as a team to conference foe Belmont Abbey.
