A freshman from Oppegard, Norway, Ulmo finished second individually at the Irish Creek Invitational at the par-71, 7,099-yard The Club at Irish Creek in Kannapolis, North Carolina.
Ulmo carded a 6-under 207 in securing the second-place finish. He opened the tournament with an even-par 71 before posting a 4-under 67 in round two and a 2-under 69 in round three.
Ulmo tied for the tournament lead with two eagles and he was tied for the lead in par-5 scoring at 4.22 (-7). He also tied for the lead in par-3 scoring at -2 (2.83).
