WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL

Bree Lyons | Converse | Outside Hitter | Junior | Oxford, Mississippi

Lyons had a big week leading Converse to three wins. She averaged 4.10 kills and 2.00 digs per set while hitting .267. She started with 12 kills with seven digs and hit .346 in a sweep over Southern Wesleyan before setting a career-high with 17 kills in a sweep of Lees-McRae. The junior added seven digs in the win over Lees-McRae. Lyons closed the week with 12 kills and six digs in a win over Young Harris.

SPECIALIST OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Marusa Pesut | Emmanuel | Setter | Freshman | Maribur, Slovenia

The setter averaged 10.60 assists and 2.5 digs per set in three Emmanuel wins last week. She started with 32 assists and seven digs in a win over perennial regional power Augusta. She then followed with a double-double, 44 assists and 15 digs in a win over Francis Marion. The freshman closed the week with 30 assists and three digs in a sweep of Belmont Abbey.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEKPrevious Winners
Jackson Parrish | Barton | Running Back | Sophomore | Graham, North Carolina

Parrish had a big day for Barton on Saturday, posting a Conference Carolinas record 218 yards rushing on 27 carries in Barton's win at Ferrum. He averaged 8.1 yards per carry with a long run of 54 yards. He is the first player to eclipse the 200-yard rushing mark in a game.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEKPrevious Winners
Justin Foreman | UNC Pembroke | Defensive Back | Junior | Greenville, North Carolina

Foreman had a big week, for UNC Pembroke has he registered an interception and returned it 30 yards for a touchdown. He also accounted for four tackles, 2.5 for loss.

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEKPrevious Winners
Taylor Harris | UNC Pembroke | Kicker/Punter | Freshman | Orlando, Florida

Harris went 7-for-7 on extra point attempts last week and made his long field goal attempt, coming from 29 yards. On nine kickoffs he posted five touchbacks and averaged 60.8 yards on kickoffs.

Timmons led North Greenville at the Queens Royals Invitational, finishing 31st. She covered the 5k distance in 18:20 and was the first Conference Carolinas runner to cross the finish line.
