FMU's Dave' selected United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America, three earn scholar all-region

KANSAS CITY – The United Soccer Coaches announced their Men’s and Women’s Scholar All-Region and All-America teams this week. Conference Carolinas had three individuals earn Scholar All-Region and one earn Scholar All-America honors.

Tehya Dave’ of Francis Marion University garnered second team Scholar All-America honors.

SCHOLAR ALL-AMERICA HONOREES

Dave' was joined by Belmont Abbey College’s Addison Galek and Anna Richard, earning All-South Region honors.

WOMEN’S ALL-REGION HONOREES

In order to be eligible for Scholar All-American honors, the student-athlete must be nominated by their head coach and the coach must be a current United Soccer Coaches College Services member. Additionally, the student-athlete must be a junior or above in athletic standing and have at least a 3.4 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) throughout their career. They also must have played a minimum of 75 percent of games during the season and be an elite player as supported by playing honors (i.e., All-American, All-Region, minimum all-conference).
