Bates was big in a pair of Young Harris wins last week, averaging 19.5 points, 7.0 assists and 2.0 rebounds per game while shooting 53.8 percent from the floor. She opened with 15 points on 6-for-11 shooting, three rebounds and eight assists in a win over Tusculum before posting 24 points on 8-for-15 shooting, six assists and one rebound in a 59-52 win over Barton. She also went 5-for-8 (62.5 percent) from three-point range on the week.

Jayla Hicks | Mount Olive | Freshman | Guard | Goldsboro, North Carolina
In two games last week, Hicks accounted for eight steals and 11 rebounds, including seven on the defensive end. She averaged 5.5 rebounds and 4.0 steals per game. She posted six rebounds and four steals in a win over Elizabeth City State before registering five rebounds and four steals in a win over Emmanuel.

Cleveland had a huge week for Young Harris, shooting 54.3 percent from the floor while averaging a double-double with 32.0 points and 10.5 rebounds per game. He opened with 25 points, 10 rebounds, two assists and a steal while going 9-for-16 from the floor against Georgia College. The then shot 10-for-19 from the floor and 19-for-21 from the free throw line for 39 points in a win over Barton. He added 11 rebounds, two assists and two steals against Barton.

Randolph had a big game in Southern Wesleyan's win over Erskine as he broke the school record for rebounds in a game. He snared 27 rebounds, including 18 on the defensive end to help the Warriors to the win.
