INDIANAPOLIS – Two Conference Carolinas women’s basketball teams are mentioned in the first set of NCAA Division II Region Rankings. Belmont Abbey College and Francis Marion University are both ranked in the second set of rankings.

The rankings are the official poll utilized by the NCAA in the championship selection process and will continue to be released each week by the NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Committee up to the NCAA Championship selections.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL REGION RANKINGS

Francis Marion is ranked sixth with an overall and region record of 18-8 while Belmont Abbey is ranked ninth with records of 20-6 overall and in region.
