FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners

Keza Green | Mount Olive | Senior | Jumps | Charlotte, North Carolina
Bryant won the long jump at the Marlin Invitational with an NCAA provisional mark of 6.05 meters. That leap also ranks second in the southeast region. She also finished runner-up in the high jump, clearing 1.45 meters.

TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Grace Davis | Converse | Freshman | Sprints | Greenville, South Carolina

Davis improved on her NCAA Division II-leading 60 meter dash time over the weekend at the Camel City Sprints, she finished the prelims in 7.28 seconds before improving on that in the finals with a time of 7.27 seconds.

FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Gary Parker | UNC Pembroke | Junior | Throws | Bladenboro, North Carolina

At the VMI Winter Relays, Parker posted a weight throw of 18.59 meters, breaking his own school record by 1.08 meters. That is the best toss in Conference Carolinas and is an NCAA provisional mark.

Issac Reyna | Lees-McRae | Senior | Distance | Thomasville, North Carolina

Reyna set personal records in the 3000 and 5000 meters, including a school record in the 3000 meters. He covered the 3000-meter distance in 8:40.00 and hte 5000-meter distance in 15:19.83. Both of those times are the fastest in Conference Carolinas this season.
 

SOFTBALL
PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Kaitlynn Hunt | UNC Pembroke | Sophomore | Infield | Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina

Hunt had a big week for UNC Pembroke, registering at two hits in two contests and hitting .429 with two doubles and six runs batted in. She started with a double and drove in two against Kutztown before driving in two on three hits in a win over Newberry. She closed the week by driving in two on two hits, including a double, in a win over Felician.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Alex Steen | Mount Olive | Junior | Pitcher | Cheraw, South Carolina

Steen was magnificent in the circle in her lone start of the week for Mount Olive. She defeated 19th-ranked Lenoir-Rhyne, tossing a complete game where she allowed only two runs, one unearned in seven innings. Steen only allowed four hits and struck out 11 in the 3-2 Trojan win.
 

BASEBALL
PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Charlie Bussey III | Francis Marion | Junior | Infield | Graniteville, South Carolina

In four games last week, Bussey III hit .467 with seven hits, nine runs batted in and 11 runs scored. He also accounted for two doubles, one triple and one home run for a slugging percentage of .933. In back-to-back games against West Liberty, the junior went 3-for-5 in each game, driving in four in each. He scored three runs and ripped a double and a triple in the opening game before scoring four runs, walking three times and ripping a double and a home run in the second. He closed the week by scoring three runs and earning two walks in the series finale against West Liberty.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Cole Molina | Southern Wesleyan | Junior | Pitcher | Alabaster, Alabama

Molina tossed a complete game, leading Young Harris to a 9-3 win over Florida Southern. In the contest, he tossed all nine innings, allowing three runs on seven hits and striking out nine against no walks.

Kalayah Edwards | Emmanuel Junior | 124 pounds | Covington, Georgia

Edwards went 4-0 last week, taking all four wins by pin to win the bracket at the Blue Raider Open. She pinned Brewton-Parker's Adeline Harper in 19 seconds before pinning Arield Goble of Andrew College in 1:04. She then closed with pins of Kalliscya Gardner of Lindsey Wilson in 2:11 and Jes'onia Barfield of Georgetown in 1:54.

In his only match of the week, Hunt earned a 6-3 decision over Kaden Kuenzi of Lander who was ranked 16th by the Open Mat.
