NEWPORT, Ky. –2026 Conference Carolinas/Great Midwest Bowling Championships at Super Bowl in Newport, Kentucky came to a conclusion on Sunday. Belmont Abbey College won both the women’s and men’s titles for the third straight year.
Women’s Championship – CHAMPIONSHIP WEBSITE | BRACKET
Belmont Abbey forced a decisive match, winning the Mega Match 2-1. The Crusaders outscored Emmanuel 899-867 in the traditional match before Emmanuel outscored Belmont Abbey 910-897 in Baker Total Pinfall. Belmont Abbey then topped Emmanuel 4-2 in Baker Match Play.
Belmont Abbey won the tiebreaker Baker Match Play 4-0 to earn the automatic bid into the 2026 NCAA Women’s Bowling Championship.
Belmont Abbey wins their third straight Conference Carolinas championship.
The NCAA selections will be announced at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25 on NCAA.com. Four regionals will be competed from April 2-4 with the semifinals and finals taking place on April 10 and 11.

Belmont Abbey captured their fourth straight tournament and Conference Carolinas title, defeating Emmanuel 2-1 in the Mega Match. The Crusaders outscored Emmanuel 955-909 in the traditional game before Emmanuel outscored Belmont Abbey 1,013-947 in Baker Total Pinfall. The Lions then led the Baker Match Play 3-1 before Belmont Abbey won the final three games to take the match play 4-3 and the Mega Match 2-1.
