2026 men's tennis All-Conference Carolinas selections released

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Conference Carolinas announced their 2026 men’s tennis all-conference awards prior to the start of the 2026 Conference Carolinas Men’s Tennis Championship on Wednesday.

The all-conference awards were voted on by the Conference Carolinas men’s tennis head coaches.

Isaac Yang of Lees-McRae College was tabbed as player of the year. He owns an overall record of 16-4, all at No. 2 singles, including an 8-1 mark in Conference Carolinas matches.

Rasmus Grindheim of the University of Mount Olive garnered freshman of the year honors going 7-1 in Conference Carolinas singles matches. Grindheim owns an overall singles record of 8-4 playing primarily at No. 4. In doubles, he owns an overall record of 11-4, going 7-2 in conference matches playing primarily at the second flight.

Mount Olive head coach Andrew Sendek was selected coach of the year. He guided the Trojans to the Conference Carolinas East Division title with an 8-0 record in division duals, and an 11-0 mark league duals. The Trojans finished the regular season with an overall record of 13-4 and are the top seed in the Conference Carolinas Men’s Tennis Championship.
