WOMEN'S TENNIS
PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Futaba Saito | Young Harris | Junior | Chita, Japan

Saito went 2-0 at No. 1 doubles and 1-0 at No. 1 singles for Young Harris last week. In doubles, the junior topped Sharick Guiza and Laura Martin of Shoter 6-3 before defeating Nikoline Gullacksen and Claudia De Lucas of Columbus State 6-0. In singles play, Saito defeated Shorter's Guiza 6-7, 6-7, 10-3 and her match with Gullackson of Columbus State was unfinished as the tandem split the first two sets 6-3, 2-6.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Rasmus Grindheim | Mount Olive | Freshman

Grindheim went 2-0 at No. 2 doubles and 1-0 in singles last week. In a conference dual against Francis Marion, the freshman defeated Viktor Virghalmi 6-2, 6-1 in singles play a topped Viraghalmi and Miguel Maia 6-2 in doubles. He also defeated Shaw's Edoardo Brustia and Andres Ayala 6-3 earlier in the week.
 

WOMEN'S FLAG FOOTBALL
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Natalia Hernández de León | Lees-McRae | Sophomore | Wide Receiver/Defensive Back | Panama City, Panama

In a pair of Lees-McRae wins last week, Hernández de León accounted for 16 receptions for 256 yards and four touchdowns.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Mackenzie Walker | Lees-McRae | Freshman | Running Back/Linebacker | Vashon Island, Washington

Walker was big on the defensive end in a pair of Lees-McRae wins last week. In total, Walker posted 16 flag pulls and added one interception. In the 43-33 win over Barton, Walker accounted for 11 flag pulls and one interception.
 

MEN'S GOLF
GOLFER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Ryan Jahr | Barton | Senior | Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina

Jahr won the Hampton Farms Intercollegiate with a tournament total of 219. He carded a 75 in the opening round before shooting one-under 71 in the second round. Jahr closed the tournament with a round of 73 to take the title by one stroke.
 

WOMEN'S BOWLING
BOWLER OF THE MONTHPrevious Winners
Canan Bademci | Belmont Abbey | Senior | Patchogue, New York

Bademci earned all-tournament honors at the 300 Music City Classic where she finished ninth overall with an average of 217.6 and total of 1088 pins over five games. She helped the Crusaders defeat second-ranked Vanderbilt 1072-1002 in a head-to-head traditional match.

BOWLER OF THE MONTH - Previous Winners
Joseph Woods Weisman | Belmont Abbey | Freshman | Minneapolis, Minnesota

Woods Weisman became the first Belmont Abbey bowler in program history to earn a berth in the United States Bowling Congress Intercollegiate Singles Championship Friday, finishing third at the sectional championship at the Smyrna Bowling Center. The Minneapolis, Minn. native claimed one of five slots at the sectional and will join 19 other bowlers from around the country in Green Bay, Wis. April 13-18 to compete for the national title. He totaled 1354 pins for an average of 225.7 over six games to stand 17 pins over the cut line. He entered the final game tied for 17th , but scored a career-high 278, his fourth game over 200 on the day.
