GREENVILLE, S.C. – Conference Carolinas released the 2026 acrobatics & tumbling all-conference teams prior to the 2026 Conference Carolinas Acrobatics & Tumbling Championship semifinals.
Ashlyn Shively of Lander University was selected Conference Carolinas Athlete of the Year. Shively was named Conference Carolinas Acrobatics & Tumbling Athlete of the Week three times this year and garnered National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) Division II Athlete of the Week on April 1. She competes in 13 heats for Lander and has improved on program records throughout the year. She helped the Bearcats to a compulsory pyramid score of 10.00 and all of her heats have scored 9.50 or better.
Coker University’s Olivia Sison was selected Specialist of the Year. Sison was named Conference Carolinas Acrobatics & Tumbling Athlete of the Week on March 17 and has been a standout tumbler for the Cobras. She broken the Coker program record in the duo pass and solo pass. Her solo season high is 9.875 out of 10.000 as she averages 9.638 on that pass. In the duo pass, Sison averages 9.000 and posted a season-best of 9.40 out of 9.55.
Anna Lentz of Mars Hill University was tabbed Conference Carolinas Freshman of the Year. Lentz competed in 10 heats for the Lions, helping Mars Hill to a pair of program high scores. Her six-element tumbling pass score of 9.375 out of 9.55 set a program record as did the compulsory pyramid score of 9.80. She also helped Mars Hill to scores of 9.25 in compulsory acro, 9.00 in compulsory tumbling, 9.60 out of 9.90 in the open toss and 9.275 out of 9.55 in the open tumbling.
University of Montevallo head coach, Kati Horstmann was selected Conference Carolinas Coach of the year after guiding the Falcons to a third-place regular season finish. The Falcons have qualified for the semifinals of the Conference Carolinas Acrobatics & Tumbling Championships for the first time and own an overall record of 6-3 while going 6-2 in league meets.
