A sophomore forward from Evansville, Indiana, Bradfield had a dominant week, totaling eight points on three goals and two assists, as Francis Marion recorded a 1-1 mark and opened Conference Carolinas play with a win. Against eighth-ranked Lenoir-Rhyne, Bradfield scored in the 12th minute for her third goal of the season to give FMU a two-goal advantage in the first half.
She followed up with a six-point performance (two goals, two assists) in a 6-1 victory at Chowan in the league opener on Saturday evening. Bradfield scored the opening goal at the 13:09 mark before forcing a turnover and collecting an assist on a goal by Tehya Dave’ in the 15th minute. In the second half, she completed her brace after scoring in the 54th minute to increase the lead to 4-0. Bradfield would secure another assist at the 74:20 mark as teammate Chloe Pfaff also registered a brace.

A native of Lisbon, Portugal, Coutinho totaled four points after netting two goals, as the Patriots posted a 1-1 mark with a 1-0 record in the conference action. On Wednesday afternoon, he scored at the time the game-tying goal in the 39th minute of the first half against ninth-ranked Auburn Montgomery, but FMU ultimately fell by a 2-1 margin. On Saturday, the Patriots delivered a stellar comeback in the final 10 minutes, as Coutinho scored the game-winning goal in the 85th minute to steal a 3-2 victory at Chowan.

A 6-foot-1 graduate student defender from Guayaquil, Ecuador, Guevara played all 180 minutes over two matches and netted a game-tying goal as Francis Marion went 1-1 last week and opened conference play with a win. He competed for all 90 minutes on a sweltering Wednesday afternoon in Florence as FMU battled ninth-ranked Auburn Montgomery. On Saturday, he once again played all 90 minutes and scored the game-tying goal in the 83rd minute, as the Patriots eventually completed a 3-2 comeback win at Chowan.
