Nine Conference Carolinas Teams Earn Spring 2019 CSCAA Scholar All-America Awards

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. - Conference Carolinas placed nine teams on the Scholar All-America team for Spring 2019, it was announced Tuesday (June 25) by the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).

To earn the honor, teams were required to post a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the Spring Semester. Emmanuel College women led all of Division II with a 3.80 GPA.

Emmanuel was joined by Barton College, Chowan University and King University with both their women's and men's teams earning Scholar All-America team distinction. Converse College would round out the Conference honorees with it's women's team collecting Scholar All-America team status.

Conference Carolinas is a NCAA Division II athletics conference made up of 12 teams from Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. These institutions consist of: Barton College, Belmont Abbey College, Chowan University, Converse College, Emmanuel College, Erskine College, King University, Lees-McRae College, Limestone College, University of Mount Olive, North Greenville University, and Southern Wesleyan University.
