2019 Women's Soccer Award Winners

Week Nine (Nov. 5, 2019)
Morgan Patton – Belmont Abbey

Patten finished a 1-0-1 week last week for Belmont Abbey with three goals. She scored two goals in Belmont Abbey’s thrilling 2-2 double overtime tie with Mount Olive on Wednesday, Oct. 30.

The senior forward from Jacksonville, Fla. also had one goal in Belmont Abbey’s 3-1 road conference win at Converse on Saturday, Nov. 2.

Week Eight (Oct. 29, 2019)
Lynzie Hulle – Chowan

A freshman goalkeeper from Landrum, S.C., Hulle was fantastic between the pipes last week, picking up two shutout victories.  

In Chowan’s 0-0 double overtime tie with league-leading and regionally-ranked Mount Olive on Oct. 23, Hulle had three saves in 110 minutes. She followed that up by making four saves in a 1-0 win over North Greenville.

Week Seven (Oct. 22, 2019)
Sara Berglund – Mount Olive

A native of Borlaenge, Sweden, Berglund had two goals in two wins for Mount Olive last week. The junior scored one goal in Mount Olive’s 3-1 win at Barton on Oct. 16 before closing the week by netting the game-winning goal in overtime in a big conference victory over regionally-ranked North Greenville on Saturday, Oct. 19.

Week Six (Oct. 15, 2019)
Jaelyn Brown, Mount Olive

A junior from Colorado Springs, Colo., Brown finished last week with an impressive eight points on three goals and two assists.

Brown collected a hat trick with three goals in Mount Olive’s 4-1 road win at Coker on Oct. 9. She followed that up with two assists in Mount Olive’s 4-0 road conference win at Erskine on Saturday, Oct. 12.

Week Five (Oct. 8, 2019)
Allyson Elliott – Belmont Abbey

A senior forward out of Fuquay Varina, N.C., Elliott had four assists in two wins for Belmont Abbey. The four assists on the week tied her for the league lead in the category at the time.

In Belmont Abbey’s 4-1 home conference win over Emmanuel on Oct. 2, Elliott had three assists. She followed that up with one assist in Belmont Abbey’s 2-1 road win at Chowan on Saturday, Oct. 5. 

Week Four (Oct. 1, 2019)
Goose Andrews – Belmont Abbey

The freshman forward from Valencia, Calif. collected her first career hat trick with three goals in Belmont Abbey’s 7-1 road win at Southern Wesleyan on Saturday, Sept. 28. She also had an assist to finish with seven points in the conference win.

Andrews is currently tied for third in Conference Carolinas with five goals on the season in total. She is tied for second in the league in points with 12.

Week Three (Sept. 24, 2019)
Ashley Romanowski – Southern Wesleyan 

Ashley Romanowski was phenomenal for Southern Wesleyan on the week, ending her efforts for the Warriors on the week with eight points in two matches. She had three goals and two assists.

In Southern Wesleyan’s 3-3 double overtime tie at Georgia Southwestern on Sept. 18, Romanowski had two goals and an assist. She followed that up with one goal and one assist in Southern Wesleyan’s 2-2 double overtime tie with Chowan in Central, S.C. on Saturday, Sept. 21.

Week Two (Sept. 17, 2019)
Megan Biehl

A native of Lenexa, Kan., Megan Biehl finished a perfect 2-0 week for North Greenville with eight points on three goals and two assists.

Biehl collected a hat trick with three goals to go along with one assist in North Greenville’s 9-0 conference-opening win over Erskine in Tigerville, S.C. on Saturday, Sept. 14. She also had an assist in North Greenville’s 3-0 home win over Columbia International on Wednesday, Sept. 11.

Week One (Sept. 10, 2019)
Keeley Marchant - Erskine

A junior goalkeeper out of North Augusta, S.C., Keeley Marchant was fantastic in her first career start in Erskine’s thrilling 1-0 win over the University of Alabama in Huntsville on Friday, Sept. 6 in Due West, S.C.

Marchant made six crucial saves in Erskine’s win over the Chargers to acquire her first career shutou
