Lees-McRae's Vassart Named Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C.Lees-McRae College forward Pol Vassart has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Player of the Week for matches played Oct. 1-7, the Conference announced today.

Vassart, a senior from Tournon-sur-Rhone, France, led Lees-McRae to a pair of non-conference wins after registering 10 points on four goals and two assists. In an 8-2 rout of Newberry, Vassart would net two goals and dish out two helper. In a 3-0 shutout of Milligan, Vassart would score two of the teams' three goals.

Vassart currently leads Conference Carolinas in points (32), goals (12) and assists (8).


Also nominated for Men's Soccer Player of the Week:
Danny McKerchar Cameron (Emmanuel) - Five points on two goals and one assist in two matches.
Noah Kendrick (North Greenville) - 22 saves in 270 minutes of action in three matches.
Ben Delisle (King) - Six points on three goals in two matches.
