GREENVILLE, S.C. – Mitchell Dean of Belmont Abbey was chosen as the South Atlantic Conference Carolinas Men’s Wrestler of the Week.

The official announcement was made on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2019.   

Dean was fantastic for Belmont Abbey at the Mount Union Open, going 5-0 en route to his second straight open title in the 157-pound weight class. The junior from Mebane, N.C. one week earlier had also gone 5-0 in securing first-place honors at 157 pounds at the Georgia Open.
