2019 Conference Carolinas Softball Championship Preview

HIGH POINT, N.C.Erskine College officially captured the 2019 Conference Carolinas regular season championship on Sunday (Apr. 21) afternoon.

The Fleet enter the 2019 Conference Carolinas Softball Championship as the No. 1 seed after turning in a 16-4 record. Earning the No. 2 seed through tiebreakers is King University with a 14-6 record. The No. 3 seed will be North Greenville University with its 14-6 record, while University of Mount Olive earned the No. 4 seed with a 12-8 record.

Rounding out the bracket is No. 5 seed Lees-McRae College (11-9), No. 6 seed Southern Wesleyan University (11-9), No. 7 seed Belmont Abbey College (10-10) and No. 8 seed Limestone College (9-11).

The 2019 Conference Carolinas Softball Championship will be hosted by The City of Burlington Recreation & Parks on Apr. 26-28, at Springwood Park in Burlington, N.C. The Conference Carolinas Softball Championship winner will receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.

Game 1: No. 4 Mount Olive  vs. No. 5 Lees-McRae - 11 a.m.

Game 2: No. 3 North Greenville vs. No. 6 Southern Wesleyan - 11 a.m.

Game 3: No. 1 Erskine vs. No. 8 Limestone - 1 p.m.

Game 4:  No. 2 King vs. No. 7 Belmont Abbey - 1 p.m.
