KINGVILLE, TEXAS – Conference Carolinas had 25 student-athletes compete at the 2019 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Javelina Stadium in Kingsville, Texas from May 23-25. The Conference had three relay teams and three individuals earn All-America honors in at least one of their events.
Headling the group is North Greenville University who turned in a runner-up in the men's 4x100 meter relay. Individually, Tevin Richardson collected All-America honors in the men's 200 meter dash with a fifth-place finish.
University of Mount Olive's Leah Hanle finished with a pair of All-America honors, as she finished second in the 10,000 meter run and third in the 5000 meter run. The Trojans' men finished third in both the 4x100 and 4x400 team relays to also earn All-America honors in each event.
Limestone College's Zawadi Brown earned All-America status with an eighth-place finish in the event, while Southern Wesleyan University's 4x100 team notched a seventh-place finish in the relay to earn All-America honors.
