Lees-McRae's Deeley Named Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C.Lees-McRae College's Tom Deeley has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Player of the Week for matches played the week of Oct. 16-22, the Conference announced today. This is his second POTW honor this season and the third for Lees-McRae.

A senior from Oxford, England, Deeley collected nine points on the week, with five coming in a clutch Conference Carolinas match, to propel the Bobcats to a 1-0-1 week. In a 2-2 tie with Newberry, Deeley would be LMC's lone offense, netting both goals. In a 7-0 drumming of Erskine, Deeley posted two goals and dished an assist for five points.

Deeley currently ranks second in the Conference Carolinas statistical standings in points (27) and goals (11).
