Lees-McRae's Watt Named Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Player of the Week
HIGH POINT, N.C. – Lees-McRae College's Nathan Watt has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Player of the Week for matches played the week of Oct. 23-29, the Conference announced today. This marks the fourth POTW honor for Lees-McRae.
Watt, a senior from Newcastle, England, posted seven points and led the Bobcats to the No. 2 seed in the Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Championship after going 2-0 last week. In an 8-0 win over North Greenville, Watt dished out a hat-trick of assists for three points. He followed that performance up with four points on two assists and one goal in a 6-1 win over Emmanuel.
Watt currently leads Conference Carolinas in assists (14) and fifth in points (20).
