Mount Olive's Loibl Named Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Player of the Week
HIGH POINT, N.C. – University of Mount Olive forward Sebastian Loibl has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Player of the Week for matches played Sept. 18-24, the Conference announced today.
Loibl, a junior from Paussau, Germany, was the conductor of the Trojans' offense, which led the team to a 1-1 record last week. He would have a foot in all seven of Mount Olive's goals, scoring four and dishing out three assists for 11 points.
In a loss to Francis Marion, Loibl would score UMO's two goals to start his week with four points. In the week's finale against Erskine, Loibl would collect seven points by dishing out three assists and scoring two goals to lead the Trojans to a 5-3 Conference win.
Loibl tops the Conference Carolinas statistical standings in points (19) and goals (7), while ranking second in assists (5).
