Lees-McRae's Bowling Named Conference Carolinas Men's Volleyball Player of the Week
HIGH POINT, N.C. – Lees-McRae College outside hitter Robert Bowling has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Volleyball Player of the Week for games played from Jan. 8-14, the Conference announced today.
Bowling, a freshman from Hilliard, Ohio, was an integral part in the Bobcats' 3-1 win over Coker last week. He posted 17 kills on a .481 hitting percentage to go with two blocks and two digs.
Bowling currently has 33 kills for a 3.30 kills per set average on a .260 hitting percentage. His kills per set ranks second in Conference Carolinas, while his total kills rank fifth.
