Barton's Mandilaris Named Conference Carolinas Men's Volleyball Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C.Barton College opposite Angelos Mandilaris has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Volleyball Player of the Week for games played from Jan. 22-28, the Conference announced today.

Mandilaris, a sophomore from Chalkida, Greece, averaged 3.71 kills per set and hit .404 en route to leading the Bulldogs to a pair of Conference Carolinas wins.

In a 3-1 win over Erskine, Mandilaris would put down 12 kills on .348 hitting to go with three digs, two service aces and one block. He would then put away 14 kills on .458 hitting in a 3-0 sweep of Emmanuel.

Mandilaris currently has a 3.25 kills per set average on 78 kills with a a .250 hitting percentage. His total kills rank second in Conference Carolinas, while his kills per set rank third.
