Erskine's Cabral Named Conference Carolinas Women's Soccer Player of the Week
HIGH POINT, N.C. – Erskine College midfielder Devyn Cabral has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Soccer Player of the Week for matches played Oct. 8-14, the Conference announced today.
A sophomore from Land O Lakes, Fla., Cabral was the offensive catalyst behind Erskine's 2-0 record last week in conference play. She posted three goals, including two game-winners, for six points in the pair of wins.
Cabral would score the match-winner in overtime to give the Fleet a 2-1 win over Mount Olive to start the week. She would then score both of Erskine's goals in a 2-1 win over Barton.
Cabral currently ranks fourth in Conference Carolinas in game-winning goals (2), while having eight points on four goals for the season.
