Chowan's Myers Named Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Player of the Week
HIGH POINT, N.C. – Chowan University midfielder Trevin Myers has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Player of the Week for matches played Oct. 15-21, the Conference announced today. This marks Myers first POTW of the season and the second for Chowan.
Myers, a sophomore from Lehigh Acres, Fla., propelled Chowan to a 2-0-1 record last week, with the two wins coming against Conference Carolinas foes. He registered six points on three goals.
Myers found the back of the net once in a 3-0 win over Barton. The Hawks would play to a 0-0 tie with Lander, while posting a 3-0 win over Emmanuel with Myers scoring twice in the contest.
Myers currently ranks seventh in Conference Carolinas in goals (6).
