Belmont Abbey's Fungate Named Conference Carolinas Women's Basketball Player of the Week
HIGH POINT, N.C. – Belmont Abbey College forward Manuela Fungate has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Dec. 17-19, the Conference announced today.
Fungate, a senior from Maputo, Mozambique, led Belmont Abbey to a Conference Carolinas win in the team's lone contest last week. She would notch a double-double with 16 points and 13 rebounds to go with three steals and two blocks in a 74-70 victory over King.
Fungate currently averages 8.8 points and 6.9 rebounds per game.

Taylour Hunter (Limestone) - Averaged 19 points, four rebounds, three assists and one steal in one game.
