Belmont Abbey's Trompeter Named Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Player of the Week
HIGH POINT, N.C. – Belmont Abbey College midfielder Mark Trompeter has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Player of the Week for matches played Sept. 17-23, the Conference announced today.
Trompeter, a senior from Plano, Texas, scored the game-winning goal in Belmont Abbey's lone match last week. Trompeter would find the back of the net just 21 seconds into the match and lead the Crusaders to the 1-0 victory over No. 10 Limestone.
Trompeter currently has one goal and one assist for three points on the season.

Zach Baker (North Greenville) - Six points on three goals in two matches.
Danny McKerchar Cameron (Emmanuel) - Six points on three goals in two matches.
Miguel Uribe (Southern Wesleyan) - 19 saves in two matches.
Pol Monells (Barton) - Four points on one goal and two assists in one match.
Alfie Pope (Mount Olive) - Two points on one goal in one match.
Pol Vassart (Lees-McRae) - Eight points on three goals and two assists in two matches.
