Mount Olive's Havens Named Conference Carolinas Women's Basketball Player of the Week
HIGH POINT, N.C. – University of Mount Olive guard Felecity Havens has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Jan. 21-27, the Conference announced today. This marks both the third POTW for Havens and Mount Olive.
A senior from Lorain, Ohio, Havens was the catalyst behind Mount Olive picking up two Conference Carolinas wins last week against Limestone and Southern Wesleyan. She averaged a double-double for the week with 26.5 points and 13 rebounds to go along with one steal per game.
Havens would notch a big double-double of 42 points and 16 rebounds with one block on the way to a 78-72 victory over Limestone. In a 76-68 win over Southern Wesleyan, Havens would post another double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds with two steals.
Havens currently averages 24.6 points, 7.9 rebounds, 1.9 steals and 1.6 assists per game. Her points per game rank first in Conference Carolinas, while her steals and rebounds rank sixth and eighth, respectively, in the league.

Karen Donehew (North Greenville) - Averaged 16 points, five rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 blocks in two games.
Brea Forbes (Lees-McRae) - Averaged 17.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and two steals in two games.
Allie Downing (Belmont Abbey) - Averaged 16 points, eight rebounds two assists and one block in one game.
Lochlain Corliss (Emmanuel) - Averaged 18.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, three assists and two steals in two games.
Kianna Wynn (Barton) - Averaged 22.5 points, nine rebounds and one block in two games. Posted one double-double.
