Barton's Wynn Named Conference Carolinas Women's Basketball Player of the Week
HIGH POINT, N.C. – Barton College forward Kianna Wynn has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Feb. 11-17, the Conference announced today. This marks the fourth POTW for Wynn and the fifth overall for Barton.
Wynn, a senior from Knightdale, N.C., led Barton to another 2-0 record in Conference Carolinas play with wins over Mount Olive and Lees-McRae. Wynn shot 63.6 percent from the field and averaged a double-double for the week with 25.5 points and 10 rebounds to go along with one block per game.
In a narrow 85-82 win over Mount Olive, Wynn scored 29 points and fell two rebounds short of a double-double with eight boards with one assist, one steal and one block. In an 87-60 victory over Southern Wesleyan, Wynn scored 22 points with 12 rebound and one block.
Wynn currently averages 23.7 points and 9.6 rebounds per game. Her points and rebounds per game both rank second in Conference Carolinas.

Allie Downing (Belmont Abbey) - Averaged 18 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.5 steals and 1.5 assists in two games.
Ali Golden (King) - Averaged 21.5 points, four rebounds, 3.5 assists and two steals in two games.
Schekinah Bimpa (Limestone) - Averaged 12 points, 18 rebounds and two blocks in one game. Posted one double-double.
Karen Donehew (North Greenville) - Averaged 21.3 points, 4.3 rebounds and one assist in three games.
