Zach Puentes | Belmont Abbey | Sophomore | Outside Hitter/Opposite | Wellington, Florida
Puentes averaged 3.30 kills per set, reaching double figures twice in three matches last week. He posted 11 kills and six digs against 11th-ranked Grand Canyon before going for 15 kills and .281 attack percentage in a win over Fort Valley State. In the Crusader win, Puentes added a career-high eight blocks, including three solo stuffs. The eight blocks also ranked fourth in program history for blocks in a four-set match. The sophomore closed the week with seven kills against top-ranked Long Beach State.

Joseph Morris | Belmont Abbey | Sophomore | Setter | Bethesda, Maryland
In three matches last week, Morris averaged 7.30 assists and 1.30 digs per set. He started with 23 assists, three digs and two blocks against 11th-ranked Grand Canyon. He then registered 34 assists, five digs and two blocks in a win over Fort Valley State. The sophomore closed the week with 16 assists, five digs and one block against top-ranked Long Beach State.

Brown led the Hawks to a pair of wins, averaging 19.0 points and 7.50 rebounds per game while shooting 57.6 percent from the floor. She started with 24 points, six rebounds, five assists, two steals and one block in a win over Francis Marion. She then added 14 points, nine rebounds, two assists and three steals in a win over Erskine.

Peyton Nation | Belmont Abbey | Senior | Forward | Springboro, Ohio
Nation averaged 13.50 rebounds and added five steals and one block in two games for the Crusaders last week. She posted 20 rebounds and two steals in a win over Erskine before grabbing seven rebounds to go along with three steals and a block against Francis Marion.

Latney had a big week for the Lions last week, averaging 26.0 points and 7.5 rebounds per game while shooting 70.4 percent from the floor. The senior started with 30 points and 12 rebounds while shooting 11-for-16 from the floor in a win over Southern Wesleyan. He added six assists and three steals in the win. He closed the week with 22 points on 8-for-11 shooting from the floor, while adding three rebounds and two steals against UNC Pembroke.

Traore was solid on the glass for the Hawks last week, averaging 11.5 rebounds to go along with four blocks in a pair of wins. He started with 11 rebounds and three blocks in a win over Francis Marion before snaring 12 rebounds and one block in a win over Erskine.

Paige Murphy | Emmanuel | Sophomore | Attack | Calgary, Alberta
Murphy started her sophomore season with 15 points in Emmanuel's 18-16 win over Montevallo. She posted nine goals and added nine assists to lead the Lion offense. She added 12 draw controls, one ground ball and two caused turnovers.

Ava Lombardi | Southern Wesleyan | Freshman | Goalkeeper | Cary, North Carolina
In first collegiate contest, Lombardi helped lead the Warriors to an 11-9 win over Emory & Henry. She made 10 saves and posted a .714 saves percentage to earn her first career win.

Castle led the Crusaders to a season-opening win over Lincoln Memorial. In the contest, the junior scored five goals and added two assists for seven points.

In his Crusader debut, Tomei made 13 saves on 19 shots on goal to lead Belmont Abbey to a season-opening win over Mars Hill.
