Barton's Boykin Named Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C.Barton College guard Michael Boykin has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Dec. 4-10, the Conference announced today.

Boykin, a sophomore from Clinton, N.C., led the Bulldogs to a 95-78 win over Emmanuel last week and has Barton in first-place of the Conference Carolinas standings. He posted 24 points to go with seven rebounds, three steals, two assists and one block to earn his first POTW honor this season.

Boykin currently averages 14 points, 3.6 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game.
