Conference Carolinas Places 12 in Final Spring Standings

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Conference Carolinas wrapped up the 2023 spring sports season with 21 teams ranked in their final polls.

  • The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) released the final top 25 poll of the season and North Greenville led four Conference Carolinas programs in the poll at No. 4 with 435 points. Belmont Abbey was ranked 15th with 193 points while Mount Olive and UNC Pembroke each received votes in the rankings. The poll is available here.

    In the final Collegiate Baseball Division II poll, North Greenville finished fifth with 208 points, Mount Olive was 16th with 120 points, Belmont Abbey was 18th with 104 points and UNC Pembroke ranked 29th with 16 points. The full poll can be seen here

  • In the final Golfstat team rankings, the Barton men came in at No. 20. Meanwhile, in the final edition of the Bushnell/Golfweek Division II Coaches Poll, the Bulldogs ranked 23rd with 55 points. The Golfstat rankings are available here while the coaches poll can be viewed here.

  • The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA)/Blatant Lacrosse final poll saw Belmont Abbey receive votes. The full poll is available here.

  • Inside Lacrosse Women (ILWomen) and the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) released the final poll and Mount Olive received votes. The poll is available here.

  • The final Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) NCAA Division II Men’s and Women’s National Team, Singles and Doubles Rankings sponsored by Tennis-Point and Conference Carolinas had four teams ranked.  In the women’s team rankings Erskine continued to lead the conference at No. 39 with a 17.39 average while Mount Olive was ranked No. 43 with a 14.90 average. In the men’s rankings Francis Marion ranked 42nd with a 15.73 average while Belmont Abbey was No. 48 with a 14.23 average. The rankings are available here.

  • In the final National Volleyball Association (NVA)/American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Men’s National Collegiate Coaches Poll, King was ranked No. 15 with 25 points.
