Barton's Miller Named Conference Carolinas Women's Volleyball Player of the Week
HIGH POINT, N.C. – Barton College's Miranda Miller has been named Conference Carolinas Women's Volleyball Player of the Week for matches played during the week of Oct. 9-15, the Conference announced today. This marks Barton's fourth straight Conference POTW honor.
A senior from Rathdrum, Idaho, Miller helped Barton improve its winning streak to 11 and stay unbeaten in conference play after going 2-0 last week. Miller posted 33 kills and averaged 4.71 kills per set with a .306 hitting percentage, while adding 19 digs for a 2.71 per set average.
In a 3-0 non-conference win over Chowan, Miller put down 11 kills with seven digs. To keep the Bulldogs undefeated in league play Miller would have a career match against Belmont Abbey. She would post a career-high 22 kills and add 12 digs for her fourth double-double of the season.
