Belmont Abbey's Ferguson Named Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Player of the Week
HIGH POINT, N.C. – Belmont Abbey College guard Romeao Ferguson has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Feb. 25 - Mar. 3, the Conference announced today. This marks the third POTW for Ferguson and eighth overall for Belmont Abbey.
Ferguson, a sophomore from Burlington, N.C., led Belmont Abbey to a win over Conference Carolinas-leading Emmanuel to close out the regular season. Ferguson posted a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds while dishing out four assists and swiping three steals in the 98-93 victory.
Ferguson currently averages 14.4 points, 7.1 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.4 steals per game. His rebounds and steals per game rank seventh in Conference Carolinas, while his points per game rank ninth.

Evans Moreau (Limestone) - Averaged 21 points, five rebounds, one block and one steal in one game.
Jordan Young (King) - Averaged 18 points, 14 rebounds, three blocks and one assist in one game. Posted one double-double.
Austin Greene (Emmanuel) - Averaged 28 points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals in one game.
Cameron Robinson (Mount Olive) - Averaged 18 points, three rebounds and one assist in one game.
Bobby Stenborg (Barton) - Averaged 13 points, six rebounds, two assists and two steals in one game.
