Mount Olive's Havens Named Conference Carolinas Women's Basketball Player of the Week
HIGH POINT, N.C. – University of Mount Olive guard Felecity Havens has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Dec. 4-10, the Conference announced today.
A junior from Lorain, Ohio, Havens averaged 25 points, 13.5 rebounds, three assists, three steals and 1.5 blocks to lead Mount Olive to a 1-1 week.
In a 80-77 loss to regionally ranked Chowan, Havens stuffed the stat sheet with 24 points, 11 rebounds, four steals, three assists and one block. She would follow the performance with a strong showing in a 74-69 Conference win over Erskine. Havens would pour in 26 points and 16 rebounds with three dimes, two steals and two blocks.
Havens is currently averaging 25.7 points and 9.8 rebounds per game. Her 25.7 points per game rank first in Conference Carolinas, while her 9.8 rebounds per game ranks second.
