Limestone's Richardson Named Conference Carolinas Women's Basketball Player of the Week
HIGH POINT, N.C. – Limestone College guard Jasmine Richardson has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Feb. 12-18, the Conference announced today. This is her second POTW honor this season and Limestone's fifth.
A senior from Talladega, Ala., Richardson led Limestone to a 2-0 week in league play by averaging 25 points and 5.5 rebounds.
Richardson opened the week with a career-high 37 points with five boards in a 65-60 win over King, which propelled the Saints to at least a share of their seventh straight regular season title. She would then post 13 points and six rebounds in a 68-60 win over regionally ranked Barton.
Richardson currently averages 16 points and 4.8 rebounds per game. Her points per game rank seventh in Conference Carolinas.
